In 2004 Wignalls Wines Cellar Door was awarded the coveted one of the best twenty five cellar doors in Australia. When you consider just how many other cellar doors there are, that must mean something rare and special.

MORE THAN 60 GOLDS and 35 TROPHIES have been won by our family estate to date, both Domestically and Internationally.

Such an experience and recognition does not occur by accident.

1982 agricultural research showed that the Wignalls Albany, Western Australia, farm was highly suited to the famous Burgundian grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Albany’s specific Terroir is the home of mild summer days, a guaranteed mid-afternoon cooling sea breeze and warm maritime evenings through the growing season This makes grape growing challenging however worth all the rewards at the end with some of Australia’s great wines. Our first vintages saw amazing results with Trophies and Gold medals for both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Wignalls wines is located at 448 Chester Pass Road, Albany Western Australia.

Open Thursday to Monday 11am to 4pm - Extended hours / days through school holidays, Long Weekends and peak summer periods.

We seasonally CLOSE from the 15th of May through to August 31st.
